Meta Platforms (the former Facebook) remains in a corrective structure after the 2021 peak at 384. We have seen a five-wave decline from the peak to a low of 154.25 indicating that a zig-zag correction is unfolding. As wave [A] looks complete, we will expect a temporary corrective bounce towards 50% near 271 before renewed downside pressure. That said, we need to stress, that we are facing a [B]-wave correction and the developments are almost unpredictable. B-wave can take on any shape possible. So, we can face a straight rally towards 271 or we can see new lows before a rally towards 271 if an expanded flat is unfolding as wave [B].
At this point, we don't have any clear indication of the possible shape of wave [B]. Hence, we advise the utmost caution in regard to Meta Platforms in the months ahead.
