Jonny Hart speaks to APAC Senior Market Analyst Jeffrey Halley about news impacting the market and the week ahead.

After the data frenzy of last week, this one seems pedestrian by comparison. But beware, there are plenty of geopolitical risks out there and we have a football team of Fed speakers to shake things up this week.

We start the Podcast with a wrap of Asian markets which are under pressure today as China slowdown worries really start to compound. Jeff outlines the most pressing risks to China’s growth. We look at what has happened and the risk around the Russian memorial parades today and European equities.

Then it’s on to an old favourite, Bitcoin! The technical picture for Bitcoin is not constructive, having broken lower through 1-year support on Friday and continued south over the weekend. Jeff discusses his outlook for Bitcoin referencing the technical picture.

Finally, we look at the week ahead with inflation data dominating Asia, European and North American markets.
